Established in 2000 and Berkshire (Newbury) based my client is a leading specialist management company providing blue chip clients with project management and information systems solutions. They are a mature business with an international client portfolio that includes some of the best-known companies in the public and private sectors.
Due to their success and rapid expansion, they are seeking to recruit a .NET (C#) Developer who will join an already existing team of developers who will be responsible for building and supporting individual client systems with the aim to deploy these systems more efficiently and with improved functionality. The role we are currently recruiting for is that of senior developer who will be directly responsible for the design and build of new systems, as well as the deployment of new products as required by the company, and supporting the current development team ensuring the deployment of client systems. This is an exciting "greenfield" opportunity for an accomplished .NET developer with solid skills in C#, .NET and SQL Server and preferred skills in XML, Ajax, CSS, ASP and Web services. The candidate will be required to assume responsibility for delivering one or more project modules through their design and development skills and as the deadlines are tight, close team support is required plus the ability to support the junior members of the team.This is a great working environment with the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the initial, and ongoing, development of a significant development projects as well as continuing career development through the exploration of the latest technologies and clear career progression.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience and should be comfortable with OO concepts and architecture and should be proactive in helping the client develop the architecture and also in developing autonomously to a brief developing using SCRUM. You will work closely with the lead developer and there are certainly opportunities for career progression to lead developer of other teams.
