My client is a leading and global IT business, turning over billions of pounds per year. They specialise in developing various technology based products and design and install complex systems as well as tailor a wide range of solutions on behalf of wide range of blue chip organisations nationally and internationally. They are looking to hire an experienced and commercially aware Network Infrastructure Technical Design Architect. The ideal candidate must have advanced level of experience of Network infrastructure and architecture.
The ideal candidate must have excellent commercial awareness of developing customer proposals, and will be responsible for assisting in the development of the strategy in the holders specialist technology area, helping to develop the technical business and commercial goals linked to the strategic direction of the company, and will be responsible for facilitating and vetting all associated bid estimates within the group to meet associated product needs. You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on Internet technologies and relationship management will be a key part of the role as you will be responsible for actively developing strong working relationships with key technical vendors, manage costs growth and quality of service and actively manage external and customer relationships with regards to technical planning requirements. You will be responsible for representing technology needs at meetings and at Quarterly Internet Strategy Meetings as well as responsible for ensuring all best practice standards for proposal writing are enforced, and that the Technology roadmap project milestones are defined, monitored, reported and communicated. Looking after the capability and scalability of the network will be key.
Essential: The ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical customers. Excellent infrastructure and development architecture skills in designing and delivering solutions and services in the Internet industry. Well developed research skills with the ability to analyse and interpret technical information from a range of sources - the ability to analyse complex technical and business issues and determine solution options. Experience in creating and deploying specialist technical solutions in chosen field of expertise. Experience in creating and deploying high level technical strategies aligned to business strategy.
You must have an Advanced level of experience Network infrastructure technical architecture and must have the ability to recommend technical solutions and options.
