My client is a leading global information and media company with more than 42,000 employees and are active in more than 100 countries, and have leading market positions and globally recognised brands. Due to their success and rapid expansion, they are seeking to recruit a .NET (ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET) developer who will be responsible for developing Web based solutions in accordance with global design and application development principles from conception through application development, pre-testing, documentation as well as release.
The ideal candidates must have experience and a good working knowledge of the full software development life cycle. Essential skills and experience include software development experience using C# or VB.NET and ASP.NET, with extensive use and exposure to JavaScript and CSS: Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 and a very strong Web development background with experience of design and implementation.
