My client is a leading and global IT consulting business, turning over billions of pounds per year. They specialise in developing various technology based products and design and install complex systems as well as tailor a wide range of solutions on behalf of wide range of blue chip organisations nationally and internationally. They pride themselves in consistently delivering high-quality products, solutions and services that satisfy their clients requirements, and it is with this in mind that that they are looking to hire experienced and commercially aware SharePoint/MOSS Consultants.
The initial projects will be greenfield projects and one of the projects will involve work on some of the world's best-known Internet sites delivering information and services to a large audience on a global scale (15 billion hits per month, delivering nearly half a billion Web Pages per month and transporting 0.5PB).
The ideal candidate will have come from a commercial environment preferable within an Internet media domain where they have worked with established and emerging technologies for distributed, scalable and robust systems. The ideal candidate will operate in the capacity of SharePoint evangelist/subject matter expert and will be responsible for providing MS SharePoint Server expertise and deliver a high value service to blue chip clients and as well as provide technical direction and leadership around SharePoint related matters. The consultants will be client facing with the responsibility for evaluating client's technology strategy and investment in SharePoint Server technology, providing recommendations based on business conditions and future goals. This encompasses technical evangelism and inception of the Server solution through to successful delivery. The work is mainly focussed on high profile, high volume mission critical projects on behalf of a UK and an internationally based client portfolio. The ideal candidate will help deliver custom enterprise scale solutions in line with company business priorities and according to industry best practices and methods based on Sharepoint.
