Established in 1969 and listed on the London Stock Exchange, my client is a Microsoft Certified Partner and a member of the International Statistics Institute. They currently operate in over 50 countries around the world and their clients include international aid agencies, national governments, public and private sector, the third sector and specialist organisations. Their work is mainly focussed on high profile, high volume mission critical projects on behalf of a UK and an internationally based client portfolio. Due to expansion and success within their niche market, they are looking to recruit Senior .NET Developers to help deliver custom software solutions using the .NET framework and deliver and provide cutting edge solutions to meet client's requirements. The main responsibilities will include providing strategic guidance and technical support for the development and delivery of software applications/solutions and support services in line with company business priorities and according to industry best practice methods.
The ideal candidates must have experience in: A good and solid history of .NET (C#) hands-on development and strong SQL Server design experience is essential. Experience of related Web based technologies, unit testing and Agile methodologies would be advantageous, but not essential. Responsibilities for this role will include producing very high quality output to meet the stringent demands of clients, as well as maintaining a keen interest in the evaluation of new development tools and techniques, and you will be encouraged to keep learning on the job, and the nature of our business means there will always be interesting projects for you to work on. This is a fantastic opportunity working in a relaxed but technically challenging Agile environment with the opportunity to work on exciting and varied projects with some of the best people in the business.
