.NET Architects are required by an award winning consultancy with over 12 offices in the UK and literally hundreds of thousands of employees worldwide whom are the main development partner on a number of truly enterprise scale MS based projects, many of which are whollay owned i.e. not body shopped. The recruiting department specialise in delivering innovative MS technology based solutions to a variety of public and private sector clients in the UK. My client is hiring purely due to client demand and as such they don't have a bench. This is a full project life cycle environment where you will work amongst some of the most highly regarded MS Technologists in the UK on enterprise scale projects.
Applicants should have a skill set that includes all of the following: high level architecture mixed with hands on development with ASP.NET, C#, XML, SQL Server 2000. Knowledge of software development methodologies is of interest (Agile, Scrum, XP/Extreme programming, UML, RUP). Skills which are preferred but not a prerequisite include .NET 2.0, SQL Server 2005 and BizTalk & Sharepoint.
These roles will ideally suit a Lead Developer or hands on Architect. Salaries are typically above market rates between 40k and 100k with an package worth 19% on top of your salary (most of which can be taken as a monthly payment on top of your salary).
