My client are a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Ealing, London with 2 arms to the company, firstly as a software consultancy and secondly as a software vendor. They are probably best known for the re-architecture of the Tesco's online shopping Website which is the world's largest online grocery site and has been one of the largest and most technically advanced projects in the UK. For the Tesco's site they have developed an application platform and a retail application suite with a semantic search engine, they have quickly realised that this product has massive potential for other retail companies and could one day be a competitor to the major search engines.
A position has opened up for a UI developer/engineer to work closely with product managers, designers and testers in an open environment with continuous integration to ensure the product delivers an exceptional user experience.
Essential Skills: Experience of building enterprise Web applications Microsoft IIS ASP.Net C# Experience of W3C and accessibility standards XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
Beneficial Skills: Experience of Ajax frameworks (ASP.Net, Ajax, JQuery or Yahoo! UI Library) Silverlight Flex Experience of user centered design practices
