Product Manager/Product Analyst, MS Gold Partner consultancy - LondonMy client are a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Ealing, London with 2 arms to the company, firstly as a software consultancy and secondly as a software vendor. They are probably best known for the re-architecture of the Tesco's online shopping Website which is the world's largest online grocery site and has been one of the largest and most technically advanced projects in the UK. For the Tesco's site they have developed an application platform and a retail application suite with a semantic search engine, they have quickly realised that this product has massive potential for other retail companies and could one day be a competitor to the major search engines.
A position has become open for a Product Manager/Product Analyst to be involved in investigating the market and customer requirements with a view to producing product specifications for the application platform and the retail application suite; these will cover all aspects of the products from business processes and rules, to user interactions and performance and scalability characteristics. You will work with consultants, engineers and testers throughout the entire life cycle to ensure that shipping products have features and characteristics that will excite new and existing customers.
Essential Skills: A BSc or MSc in an IT Related subject Strong requirements analysis skills Excellent communication skills A good knowledge of modern enterprise system architectures Experience within retail and consumer packaged sectors
