IVR Speech/Voice Developer - . NET, VUI, IVR, CTI, VXML, Telephony, speech technology.
My client are a recognised leader in delivering communications capabilities and works with leading Fortune 500 companies and government institutions around the world. Due to their success and rapid expansion, they are seeking to recruit an experienced speech developer to be active individually or as part of a team in the full project life cycle of software development projects.
This role is to create solutions that encourage self-service and create efficiencies for users and customers alike. Customers include dozens of blue chip companies throughout the EMEA. Working with a project manager, the successful candidate will carry out VUI design and development, application development & implementation of customer specific projects with the client's call-centre products including IVR, CTI and other related technologies and products. Creating fully documented projects in accordance with the clients ISO 9001 (TickIT) accreditation, you will be required to design, document and develop the solution, so strong application development, in any language and any operating system is essential.
The role is customer-facing and the ability to make the solution work in the customer's environment relies on a broad range of telephony, database and networking skills. Additionally you will need to assist periodically in pre-sales support activity.
The role involves periodic travel to customer locations for project meetings and implementation/integration activities. The ideal candidates must have knowledge of and experience with Speech Technology. Experience of some or all of the following would be beneficial: Telephony Protocols, CTI, Database and Systems Integration. Excellent customer facing skills, problem solving and analytical skills, self starter, who can think on their feet and assume responsibility and must be prepared to travel throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
